Our precious reefs form the foundation of our islands. The marine environment in the Maldives has taken care of us for centuries. We are lucky to have the 7th largest reef system in the world. These reefs are our livelihood. But they are under threat. Our future and the future of our children relies on healthy reefs. In this module, we will explore the Maldives marine environment and some of the threats currently being faced.
